Manor Farm Slimbridge itinerary;

Everyday all of our visitors will get to meet, feed and care for the animals on the farm while enjoying plenty of crafts and other activities!

As always Mondays will be tractor and machinery related, Tuesdays we will be cooking, Wednesdays will be about adventure and expedition with Thursdays being our ever popular pony day and on a Friday we will end the week with a farewell bonfire

 - Please note during COVID cookery will involve children having their own unique utensils and ingredients.

- Some pony activities will be restricted to prevent multiple use of equipment but there will still be plenty of opportunity to spend time with the ponies and rosettes for everyone!

- All arts, crafts, clay and activity materials will be single use and each child will have their own personal supply given to them at the start of the day.

Week 19th - 23rd October 2020

This week we will celebrate harvest time and all things autumnal.

From combine harvesters to busy harvest mice we will learn why it's important to store food for the winter. Everyone can have fun making skeleton leaf art, bird feeders, homes for hedgehogs and much more. This week we will also learn how important it is to care for our animals and wildlife as the weather turns colder.

Week 26th - 30th October

In the build up to Halloween we will have bags of spooky fun with magical things that go bump on the farm! We will get stuck into making our own costumes and masks, carving pumpkins to take home and creating amazing shadow puppets to spin tales to our friends by the light of a torch!
