Everyday all of our visitors will get to meet, feed and care for the animals on the farm while enjoying plenty of crafts and other activities!

As always Mondays will be tractor and machinery related, Tuesdays we will be cooking, Wednesdays will be about adventure and expedition with Thursdays being our ever popular pony day and on a Friday we will end the week with a farewell bonfire

 - Please note during COVID cookery will involve children having their own unique utensils and ingredients.

- Some pony activities will be restricted to prevent multiple use of equipment but there will still be plenty of opportunity to spend time with the ponies and rosettes for everyone!

- All arts, crafts, clay and activity materials will be single use and each child will have their own personal supply given to them at the start of the day.

Weekly themes;

W/C 13th July

This week's theme will be weird and wonderful, from lizards with a third eye to quail who can fly at 40 miles per hour. We will learn bizarre facts about our animal friends and have fun making bouncy balls out of quail eggs. We will use milk from the cows to make our own instant ice cream using only salt, ice and a sandwich bag!

W/C 20th July

This week we will enjoy our popular annual water week. There will be sprinklers for cooling off under, water bomb target practice and lots of opportunities to bath and shower the animals to help them stay happy in the hot weather. We will also get busy building our own irrigation systems using sticks and our imaginations.

W/C 27th July

This week will be full of mysteries. Each morning the children will arrive to a new puzzle, from Tango the tortoise's treasure hunt to the case of Tornado's missing horseshoe. We will all need to roam around the farm with our thinking caps on!

W/C 3rd August (Including Bank holiday Monday!)

This week we will explore the wonderful story of wheat. Each year everyone loves heading into the fields to harvest their own little crop of wheat. Back at HQ we will winnow and grind our wheat to make flour and bread. We will also learn how straw is made and what it is used for and have a go at making corn dollies!

W/C 10th August

This week will be spectacular storytelling week. We will hear tales of wonder inspired by our four legged and feathered friends. Everyone will get the opportunity to spin their own tale and write and illustrate a book to take home and treasure.

W/C 17th August

This week will see the return of our much-loved circus week. As well as stilt walking, balance beams, clowning around and chicken hypnosis this year we will add a musical accompaniment with our own homemade instruments and cutting-edge animal sound electronic beats.

W/C 24th August

This week is going to be a celebration of art in nature. As we are hoping to spend most of the summer outdoors, we will decorate trees with bells and chimes, enjoy giant art and use natural products such as wool and willow to weave marvellous creations to take home and treasure.

Manor Farm at Wycliffe Prep itinerary;

At Wycliffe Prep we will be bringing an exciting taste of farm life to Stonehouse each and every holiday. There will be guinea pigs, baby chicks and unusual mini beasts to handle and meet everyday and plenty of planting, growing and learning about rural life.

On Mondays a surprise animal will visit from the farm, Tuesdays will be rural arts and crafts day, from egg blowing to willow weaving. On a Wednesday we will throw ourselves in to the great outdoors. Each Thursday will be all about green fingers and farm to fork with Fridays seeing a visit from our beloved Shetland pony when he can be groomed and cuddled before home time!

 - Please note during COVID cookery will involve children having their own unique utensils and ingredients.
